Dr. Myron Jamerson

Dr. Myron K. Jamerson is a preacher, author, entrepreneur, song writer, psalmist, and the founder of Rock City Church from Memphis, Tennessee. With a vision in the heart of Myron to begin a ministry where God’s love could be seen and performed, The Rock Church held its first service on November 27, 2011, in the dining room of Myron’s home in Fort Drum, New York, through the Holy Spirit’s guidance and under His leadership.

He later retired from the U.S. Army in 2014 after serving more than 22 years.

Thus, Myron’s teachings aim to reveal the “love of God.” It’s to be understood that nothing can destroy or diminish the love God has for His people. Myron’s voice reaches “the voiceless” with a message of salvation, hope, and wholeness. He passionately shares God’s transformative Word with those seeking to discover their purpose in life and launch into their destiny. His heart is to demonstrate a profound love for God and compassion for people for he understands life’s difficulties because he’s been there and knows how to get out.

During the pandemic in 2020, Myron, inspired by the Holy Spirit, uprooted his family from Upstate New York. Just as the LORD said unto Abram to “Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee” (Genesis 12:1), the Spirit directed him to North Carolina, where he currently pastors Rock City Church. Myron’s life purpose is “to preach and teach until they see Jesus.”

Myron is happily married to Sabrina. They have five children: Kelsey, Kareem, Ashley, Yeshua, Noah and one grand-candy, Alessia.
